Multisensory Spatial Attention

To perform complex behaviors in the real world, our brain must combine information from multiple senses at once. Yet each sense captures the world in a completely different format: light for vision, sound waves for hearing, pressure for touch. My research asks how the brain seamlessly combines these different sensory streams into a single, coherent picture of the world, and how this shapes what we perceive and how we act.
